Taylor Sheridan Helms Lioness Season 2 as Production Kicks Off in Texas

Paramount+ has officially announced that the second season of the espionage thriller series “Lioness” is currently in production in Texas. The series, inspired by a real U.S. Military program, follows protagonist Joe, portrayed by Zoe Saldaña, as she navigates the challenges of her personal and professional life at the forefront of the CIA’s war on terror. Season 2 boasts an impressive cast including Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, Lamonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, and Hannah Love Lanier, with Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman also appearing. Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios exclusively for Paramount+, the series sees Taylor Sheridan taking the director’s chair for the third episode of the new season.
