NAF Air Strike Eliminates 80 Terrorists in Katsina Village

In a significant air operation, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has killed at least 80 terrorists in Gidan Kare Village, Faskari Local Government Area, Katsina State. The strike, which occurred on June 15, also destroyed over 45 motorcycles. According to NAF spokesperson AVM Edward Gabkwet, the operation was launched in response to intelligence reports indicating that more than 100 terrorists were burning houses in a nearby settlement. The raid targeted a mass assembly point of terrorists, who were observed converging at the location, likely planning further attacks. The terrorists were reportedly linked to infamous kingpin Yusuf Yellow and his associate Rabe Imani. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, praised the efforts and urged continued dedication in combating terrorism and criminality in Nigeria.
