Ohio and California Experience Earthquakes
This weekend, residents in parts of Ohio and California experienced earthquakes, with authorities confirming their occurrences. In Ohio, a 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck outside Madison in Lake County, close to Cleveland, early Saturday morning. The tremor, while felt by residents causing some to report the shaking of their homes, did not result in any structural damage according to Fox 8 News. Meanwhile, California faced several earthquakes on Sunday, including three that registered magnitudes of 3.0 or higher. One notable quake in Alum Rock, California, measured a magnitude of 3.4. These seismic activities were all documented by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), which continues to monitor and report on such natural events. Despite the unsettling nature of the earthquakes, no significant damage has been reported from either location.
