NASA Imagery Shows Hurricane Beryl’s Impact on Caribbean
In a recent development, images from NASA have highlighted the vastness of Hurricane Beryl, which has impacted the Caribbean. Concurrently, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released footage of its aircraft navigating the storm’s eye to collect crucial data for weather forecasting. The hurricane has caused significant disruptions, leaving thousands without power and forcing many into temporary shelters across St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, and St Lucia. Tragically, at least one fatality has been reported, and other islands have also experienced damage. Now classified as a Category 5 hurricane, Beryl is advancing westwards towards Jamaica and is projected to reach south-east Mexico by week’s end.
