UN Counter-Terrorism Chief’s Upcoming Visit to Kyrgyzstan Announced
The Head of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism is set to visit Kyrgyzstan, as discussed during a meeting between First Deputy Foreign Minister Asein Isaev and Vladimir Voronkov at the UN Headquarters in New York. During the meeting, Isaev expressed Kyrgyzstan’s support for the efforts of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office in fostering international and regional collaboration to combat terrorism and prevent extremism. The Kyrgyz delegation conveyed their eagerness to enhance project cooperation with the UN Counter-Terrorism Office. The specifics of Voronkov’s forthcoming trip to Kyrgyzstan were also deliberated.
