Celebrating LGBTQI+ Leadership Training Achievements

In recent months, Victory Institute’s Global has successfully concluded its leadership training programs across Honduras, Peru, Mexico, and notably in the Dominican Republic, in collaboration with local partners like Diversidad Dominicana. These programs aim to bolster LGBTQI+ political participation and included key training sessions during Pride month.
The Dominican Republic training saw 22 participants graduate, focusing on international human rights protection, digital security, and situational awareness for political leaders. Expert trainers like Yildalina Tatem Brache and Rosanna Marzán provided insights on public policy and physical security, while Benjamin Gautreau led a session on navigating digital threats.
The initiative underscores the importance of collaboration with local organizations such as Caribe Afirmativo, Promsex, SOMOS CDC, and Yaaj México, which are crucial for the success of these programs.
