NH NASCAR Race Delayed by Tornado Threat

Severe Storm Halts NASCAR Race in New Hampshire

A severe thunderstorm warning temporarily halted the NASCAR USA TODAY 301 race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon on Sunday, which was part of a series of storms that triggered tornado warnings across New England. The race was paused on the 219th lap with Tyler Reddick in the lead. Spectators were advised to seek shelter, but the race resumed after the weather threat cleared. The event faced severe weather throughout the weekend, including the cancellation of Saturday’s qualifying. The storm that caused the race delay was different from the one that triggered a tornado warning in nearby Manchester, New Hampshire.
