Soldier Martyred in Kulgam Terror Encounter

An Army soldier was killed in an ongoing encounter with terrorists in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation is still active with three to four terrorists hiding in the area.

Major terrorist attacks also took place in Reasi, Kathua, and Doda in June.

Kulgam: An Army soldier was killed in an ongoing encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam on Saturday (June 6). The incident took place in the Mudargam area, where the soldier was first injured and then taken to the nearest hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The operation to nab the terrorists is underway. According to information, three to four terrorists were hiding in the area. The Indian Army and police, acting on intelligence inputs, have cordoned off the entire region and are searching for these terrorists.

Terror Attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in June

Over the last few days, the Indian Army has conducted multiple operations to nab the terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir has faced terrorism for decades, and security forces are constantly working to end it. In June, numerous operations were carried out.

About 10 days ago, security forces killed three Pakistani terrorists in Doda, recovering a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, including two M4 and one AK-47 rifles.

On June 11, terrorists attacked a police post in Chattargalla, Doda, injuring six security personnel. Earlier, a terrorist was killed by security forces in Bandipora.

Major terrorist attacks also took place in Reasi, Kathua, and Doda in June. On June 9, nine pilgrims were killed and seven security personnel were injured in an attack in Reasi. A CRPF jawan was also martyred, while security forces killed two terrorists in Kathua.

Amit Shah’s Remarks in Review Meeting

Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a review meeting in June to address terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, he emphasised the need to crush terrorism and take action against its supporters.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Jammu and Kashmir Governor Manoj Sinha, NSA Ajit Doval, and Army Chief Manoj Pandey.

In Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, an ongoing encounter with terrorists resulted in the death of an Army soldier on June 6. The incident occurred in the Mudargam area, where the soldier was injured before succumbing to his injuries at the hospital. Security forces are actively searching for three to four terrorists believed to be hiding in the region.
This incident is part of a series of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in June. Significant attacks also took place in Reasi, Kathua, and Doda, leading to multiple casualties. On June 9, nine pilgrims were killed and seven security personnel were injured in Reasi. Additionally, security forces have neutralized several terrorists, recovering weapons and ammunition.
